One team

Meet Roel, the director of IKC Sloterdijk. Responsible for childcare and education. With the team, he ensures the continuous development of the children and students. And he doesn’t do that alone. Tailored to what the children need, he builds a driven team of (subject) teachers, pedagogical staff and support staff.

And Femke, together with Roel, she forms the management duo of IKC Sloterdijk. With years of experience in childcare, in various positions and at various levels, she started at IKC Sloterdijk in February with fresh courage! Her heart lies in supporting children in their development and creating opportunities for every child. In addition, she is convinced that it is our responsibility to give children the right tools, knowledge and guidance, so that they can grow into self-confident and empathetic individuals. This starts with creating a safe and stimulating environment, in which children can freely discover, experiment and learn from their mistakes.
